Ahlam Shalabi is a Lebanese born, Saudi Swiss artist raised in Saudi Arabia, educated at the American University of Beirut (bachelor’s degree of Arts) and Webster University St Louis, Geneva Campus (Master’s in management. She was first in her class, first Saudi woman television host in the Kingdom, second Saudi women radio host, first Saudi woman Swiss private banker in Geneva, member of the first Businesswomen Group in Eastern Province in Saudi Arabia and has been the subject of documentaries spotlighting strong women in the Gulf region. Ahlam is a pioneer Arab woman who breaks barriers with her wit, charm, talent, and intellect. In addition, she has maintained a passion for art actively painting since 1992, exhibiting in Saudi, Dubai, Geneva, France and within private collections. Ahlam’s art was recognized in Paris where she was received among others the “Second Prize” for her art at the Art Show Paris XIII on 30th May 2022.
Ahlam has held board positions and led major brand companies in the Middle East, Gulf and Europe. She has always been a strong advocate for issues on international peace, environment, women, and children education. She co-founded in 2005 a Swiss NGO to enable thousands of underprivileged children access to health care and education. Ahlam has lectured at university level and at professional conferences, primarily as an inspirational, motivational speaker leading by example.
